Dinosaur footprint fossils are on a small island near Yeongseong Beach at Hakseong-ri, Cheonbuk-myeon, Boryeong-si. The footprints were found by Jeong Pung-hee, a teacher. The small island where the dinosaur footprints were discovered shows geological diversity and depositional characteristics, so it is said to represent a microcosm of deposits during the Cretaceous period of the Korean peninsula.
